Classic Caribbean Charm

Coral Reef Club to Build New Spa

Coral Reef Club will introduce a state of the art Spa this autumn, offering the highest standards in luxurious facilities.

We will close the hotel from 17th May – 11th October 2008 in order to build the spa which will be operational on the 15th December 2008.  The interior design will be created by British designer Helen Green, whose style has a timeless elegance.  The brief is to create a design based on classical Caribbean design with a modern, streamlined look.  Helen Green Design created our successful Plantation Suites, which are the ultimate in luxury hotel accommodation.  We will build a colonial inspired two storey building to house the spa’s facilities which will include: a luxuriously appointed indoor relaxation room, four private, individual treatment rooms with private gardens, a couples’ outdoor treatment pavilion, a spa garden with cloistered relaxation, a hydro-pool with shaded cabanas for post treatment relaxation and a thermal suite.

The spa consultant on the project is Neil Howard, of Howard Consulting, who has 27 years of international 5 star hotel experience with Resorts, Clubs and Spas – the last 14 of which he has been leading the Hotel Spa Consultancy business.  He is responsible for such prestigious projects as the spas within the Armani hotels to open in Dubai and Milan, The Lanesborough and The Dorchester in London and the Chester Grosvenor; a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, as are Coral Reef Club and sister hotel, The Sandpiper.

Our intention is to create a spa that fits with the existing Coral Reef environment.  Totally luxurious, but with a sense of place, ensuring the spa client knows that they are in the Caribbean.  The lush gardens, the Caribbean architecture and interiors and treatments with tropical ingredients, will ensure that feeling for our clients, whilst they simultaneously enjoy the best spa experience in terms of quality and the latest spa technology.

We recognize the need to constantly upgrade our hotels in this very competitive global business and we are very excited about this project which will enhance the guest facilities.
